WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden subsequent week will spotlight his plans for drastically lowering cancer deaths and boosting therapies for the illness in what he has known as “this era’s moonshot,” the White Home introduced Wednesday.
Biden’s speech on the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston on Monday will come on the sixtieth anniversary of his predecessor’s speech outlining his imaginative and prescient for placing the primary man on the moon. The White Home stated Biden will define what his administration is doing to “finish cancer as we all know it.”
The difficulty is private for Biden, whose son Beau Biden died in 2015 of mind cancer. Biden launched the cancer moonshot the next yr when serving as President Barack Obama’s vice chairman.
